Five day Holi festival begins in Manipur

Imphal, The five-day long Yaoshang (Holi) festival began today in Manipur with traditional gaiety and religious fervour.
Yaoshang is considered as one of the biggest festival in Manipur.
There will be no newspapers available for five days.
The markets continued to be filled with last minute buyers.
Streets were full of people especially children playing with abeer(colour).
Sports events are being organised in every locality on the occasion.
