Gangtes go global

Imphal, March 9: Dedicating to women's brigade, the first Gangtes' worldwide web forum, www.ganggam.com was launched today at CNI Campus, RK Puram, New Delhi by Commissioner of Income Tax, Pu Kaisang, IRS, in an impressive function.

The web portal will feature information about the Gangte tribe which will be helpful for researchers of tribal studies, articles and write-ups relating to current social, political and economic issues.

The website will be administered by Ganggam Media Team with S Benjamin as Editor and Biebiek as technical editor.

Welcoming the launching of the worldwide web, a media professional, Gin Gangte said that it is a landmark in the long 2000 years history of the Gangtes.
