Imphal, March 13 : A 19-member Manipur equestrian team will take part in the National Tent-Pegging Championship at Karnal in Haryana from March 22 to 28.
The team, led by K. Gopal along with eight horses, was flagged off by the commander, 9 Sector Assam Rifles, Brig. S.K. Jha, from Keithelmanbi on Monday.
This is for the first time that a Manipur equestrian team is competing at a national-level tent-pegging championship.
