12-hour Manipur bandh today

IMPHAL, May 18 : The All Tribal Students Union, Manipur (ATSUM) has called a 12-hour general strike in all the five hill districts of Manipur.

Tomorrow from 6 am against the alleged failure of AD Singh, director of the Jawahar Lal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) for a positive response to the ATSUM’s demand for a 10-seat reservation for the Scheduled Tribes in the recent appointments to the Institute.

ATSUM further demanding 31 per cent reservation at any circumstance at JNIMS.
