Kidnapped youth murdered in interior Manipur

Imphal, Jan 12 (PTI) A 17-year old youth, abducted by some miscreants, was found murdered at the forest area of Khangbarol village in Manipur's interior Chandel district bordering Myanmar, official sources said today. Sources said Jamkhongam Taothang of Yangoubung village was abducted by six unidentified persons from near his house on June 7 and his body was found in the forest on June 9. Villagers reported the incident to the police yesterday, sources said adding that investigation was on as to whether it was personal rivalry or involvlement of any militant outfit.
