New Delhi, May 27 (PTI) A 20-year-old girl from Manipur was allegedly attacked by a person in south Delhi after she objected to his passing lewd comments on her, police said.
The incident took place in Munirka at around 7.15 pm when the victim, a student who also works part time at a beauty parlour, was going to work.
The local allegedly passed some lewd comments, to which she raised objections and an argument ensued, they said.
Following the argument, the girl claimed, she was slapped and assaulted by the man.
Police said they have received a complaint and is in the process of registering a case.
