IMPHAL: Led by Olympian hockey player Nilakomol Singh, the Queen's Baton Relay for 2010 Commonwealth Games on Tuesday travelled to different corners of the city amid fanfare.
Manipur chief minister Okram Ibobi Singh flagged off the Baton's journey in the north-eastern state.
The Baton passed through all the important points of the Imphal city before ending its journey at the Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.
The Baton would enter Mizoram on Wednesday, official sources said.
The QBR, which was launched by Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace in London on October 29 last year, will travel 20,000 kilometers in India for 100 days covering 400 cities and towns.
