Highway traffic disrupted

Imphal, Oct 22 : Traffic on the busy NH39 has been affected due to a hollow on the road at Tabilok village in Senapati district.

Police today said about 200 trucks were stranded on the highway on the way towards Imphal due to the hollow on the road.

Movement of vehicles was not possible and engineers and workers of Manipur Public Works Department were trying to repair the roads, police added.

Officials said if there was no rainfall, the repair works could be completed very soon.
